About Us
GemPy, as an open-source library, is continually enhanced and expanded through the contributions of geoscientists and developers from various organizations. It was initially developed within a Ph.D. project at the Institute for Computational Geoscience and Reservoir Engineering (CGRE) at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Presently, the primary development of GemPy is carried out at the CG3 Institute at RWTH Aachen University, along with Terranigma Solutions, a spinoff startup from the same research group. The core team behind GemPy includes the following members.
